Bluebirch Cabin

The cabin is of a very high quality standard and is located in a quiet area of newly build Swedish houses. A little bit of faint distant building sounds during the day but in general very silent when sitting outside on the large terras. The area clearly is under construction but that did not hinder us. It has everything you need during your stay except a vibe of cosines. It is all very 'Clean" and polished and as a result we didn't really feel 'at home' . We would have welcomed things like some pictures or artwork on the walls or a little color in the interieur. Very good documentation provided before our arrival with lots of details about the surroundings. Also in the cabin there were brochures and booklets about this. It was clean and everything was OK when we arrived. Beds and bedlinnen are good as well. The only element we did not like was the water temperature in the shower as it was slightly too low to be comfortable. Even at it hotest state we did not feel it was warm enough for a real nice shower. It was OK but slightly too low. At the heating system next to the shower the display showed 48 degrees with the waterdrops as a pictogram. If this is indeed the water temperature I feel it is too low. I believe hot water in a boiler needs to be at least 55-60 for it to be convenient and for it to not create a risk of bacteria growth (legionella) . So may be this needs to be looked at and adjusted by the owner.

Smooth booking and a clean, modern place. New, private, and quiet. A great base for exploring the Lake Siljan area. We would happily stay again.

The house is superbly equipped, both in terms of furnishings and kitchen. Ideal for two people. Booking and timely communication were excellent. The app provided for typical local questions is also very helpful. And let's not forget the friendly and helpful staff.
