Our family of five adults had a wonderful stay at the Black Bear Lodge. Everything in the house appeared to be brand new and sparkling clean. We had everything we needed for a comfortable, one-week stay, including in the kitchen, which we cooked in quite a few times. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms and sauna were excellent. We spent a lot of time sat out on the deck, enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, which in some places is still being developed. While there was a bit of construction noise on weekdays, it did not significantly disrupt our stay. We liked that the house was right next to a walking path through the forest and along the lakeshore, and just a five minute walk down to a jetty on the lake for swimming and admiring the sunsets. Overall, a fantastic property that we would not hesitate to stay in again.
